GMAT
Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computerized test created and administered by the Educational Testing Service on behalf of the Graduate Management Admission Council. It is usually the entrance requirement for the business school application.

The GMAT test determines essential verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills developed over years of education and practical experience of a student.

The GMAT starts with an analytical writing, 30 minutes long section where you have to complete two writing tasks. The following is a quantitative, 75 minutes long section consisting of multiple choice questions connected with data adequacy and problem solving.

The verbal section is the next one, consisting of multiple choice questions based on reading comprehension, critical reasoning and sentence correction. In the case you do not finish every multiple-choice section of the test your final score will depend on the number of questions you answered within every section.

Whole GMAT scores range from 200 to 800. 65% of test takers score among 400 and 600. Great scores on the GMAT do not though guarantee admission to the institution of your choice. A low score can mean you do not qualify at all for a business school program.
